Las Chapas is a leafy, sought-after stretch of East Marbella — a calmer, greener side of Marbella made up of villas and gated communities (including the exclusive Hacienda Las Chapas), about 12.5km (≈15 minutes) from central Marbella and roughly 40 minutes from Málaga airport. It’s a favourite with families and privacy-seekers who want space without leaving Marbella.

Two things give it real value. First, the beaches: Las Chapas, Marbesa and Carib Playa are on the doorstep, with the dunes and beach clubs of Cabopino a short hop away. Second — and decisively for many families — the international schools: the Las Chapas Bilingual School and Colegio Ecos are in the area, with the English International College (Elviria), the German School (Elviria) and Swans International and Aloha College (Nueva Andalucía) all within about 20 minutes. Few places put that much quality schooling within such easy reach.

Property here is mostly villas and townhouses in green, low-density surroundings — for buyers prioritising space, privacy, beaches and schooling on Marbella’s quieter eastern side.
